Chronic Fatigue Syndrome: A Treatment Guide, 2nd Edition (electronic) is now available on Barnes & Noble, Kobo, and Payhip (PDF) in addition to Amazon. If you are in Canada, this is good news!
Kobo and Barnes & Noble have a wider distribution than Kindle, so this book will be more available to people living abroad. Kobo has minimum price requirements that made it necessary to raise the price by one dollar (US). But, it's still very affordable at $3.99. (Anyone who can't afford the book at that price can simply email me, and I will send a free PDF file.)
For those who would rather have a PDF file delivered directly to their computer, a PDF file of book can be ordered from Payhip.
If you already have a copy of the book, and have reviewed it, please put a copy of your review on Barnes & Noble and Goodreads. Feel free to rate it on Kobo, and to tweet it on Payhip.
Thank you !!

THANK YOU! And a Fond Farewell to Everyone Who Has Helped
Once again I would like to thank everyone who downloaded free copies of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome: A Treatment Guide, 2nd Edition over the weekend. As of today, I have given away a grand total of 15,045 books. This is enormously gratifying, and I am deeply appreciative of the efforts of all those who helped make it happen.
This weekend's giveaway was most likely my last one. Many people from abroad have contacted me, requesting formats other than Kindle (Kobo, Nook, and formats for library distribution). Currently, the book is available solely through Amazon's KDP program. Amazon requires that the book be distributed exclusively through their KDP program in order to have free days. To make the book available in other formats, I will have to remove the book from Amazon KDP - which means there will be no more free days.
People who would like to review the book can still request a free copy through my website: http://cfstreatmentguide.com. It goes without saying that I will send a free copy to anyone who cannot afford the book. (It is currently priced at $2.99.) I don't want anyone to miss this opportunity because of financial hardship.
I am profoundly grateful to everyone who helped pass along word of the free days. It has been a wonderful experience getting to know you all. If and when the book makes it into print, I will let everybody know.
Warmly,
Erica Verrillo

THANK YOU!!
This weekend was a huge success! There were 3,946 free downloads of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome: A Treatment Guide, 2nd Edition, bringing the total number of free book downloads to 13,613!
There really are no words to describe how satisfying it is to be able to give away all these books. It is a great privilege to offer something tangible to the CFS/ME community, something that might help people find their way to recovery. I am also deeply honored that so many individuals and organizations have taken the time to support this effort by spreading the word via Facebook, their websites, blogs, on forums and boards, and by writing reviews. This is how "word-of-mouse" works in the modern world. It's a thing of beauty - and great power.
I know that if we can all come together to accomplish this minor miracle, we can join our hands to accomplish any goal we set our minds to.
Thank you all.

Many Hands Make the Load Lighter
Yesterday,
there were 6,292 free downloads of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome: A
Treatment Guide, 2nd Edition.
I can't
begin to describe how I felt when I saw that number this morning. I
had hoped to reach a total of 5,000 this month. But as of today, the
total number of free downloads has reached 9,602. We are fast
approaching the 10,000 mark.
From the
bottom of my heart, I want to thank all the people who made this
possible – those who “liked” the Facebook post, those who put
the free day on their own Facebook pages, websites, and blogs. Those
who announced it on boards, who wrote reviews, who sent encouraging
emails to their friends and support groups.
Yesterday
represented the culmination of a spectacular joint effort. It proves
that we can all pull together for the good of the community. I
certainly could never have achieved this wonderful success on my own.
I
sincerely hope that Chronic Fatigue Syndrome: A Treatment Guide will
help many people along the road to recovery. I know that while we may
be frail as individuals, together we can – and will – continue
the heart-lifting labor of bringing us all closer to what we most
desire: a return to health.
Yours in
health,
Erica

THANK YOU!!
I
would like to thank the 1433 people who downloaded free copies of the
book over the weekend. You've made my Christmas very joyous this
year!
Many of the people who contacted me wrote that they had had CFS or ME for decades. They had lost their jobs, homes and families. There is very little out there to help this group of severely ill people, so I do hope my book provides a source of hope.
To that end, I will offer the book again for free sometime in January. There were some glitches in Amazon's system. People in Canada could not order the book, and many people had problems with the free app. I've contacted Amazon, and once these problems are ironed out, I will post the book for free again. I want everyone to have a copy.
If you have a copy, do please help me offer this book again for free by posting a review on Amazon. Many of the sites that post giveaways only do so if there are more than 18 reviews. To date, this book only has 12.
YOU DON'T NEED A KINDLE TO READ THIS BOOK!! Amazon has free apps that will allow you to download it directly onto your computer. Do this now!
